I already have the 24-105 and totaly love it. I wanted to get a faster lens for concerts but didnt wanted to get rid of the 24-105. As now, I got some money back, so i bought the 16-35 mk1 online, waiting for it now!

Well, i wanted to ask for opinions and I wanted to brag abit also

Its true, once you get your first L youre doomed!

What camera body? Look at the 85 f/1.8, the 200L f/2.8

A great lens, but I wouldnt have bought the wide zoom for concerts - you could have gotten the 85 and the 200 together for $900

Ive got the 85mm, but in clubs where i shoot, i need the wide angle. Most shots are 17-50mm max! For bigger events, like open airs i got the 85 f1,8 and the sigma 50-150 .. works for me.

I love the 16-35 (I have the Mark 1) and the different angles you can get with it. I actually find that I like it (and use it more) than the 24-70.

I have both the 24-105 and the 16-35... love them both. The 24-105 gets a lot more use as it's a great walkaround lens, but the 16-35 really shines in low light conditions.
