Very small wedding but a real sweet couple and so in love. I don't know if it is just me, but I always come away from my weddings feeling like I have done a bad job. So far my fears have not been justified, and the weddings I have thought I done crap on the couples have been delighted! Let me know what you think of these and what images are stand out for you.
I know the feeling. I've done weddings thinking I couldn't have had worse luck with issues that arose, missed moments, things like that. But then I get to editing and find that I actually did fairly well. The bride and groom are estatic and I'm happy too.
I think your pictures are good. I'd say my favorite is 12. The top down shot of them dancing and her looking up is great. Where you on a balcony? That is my favorite type of image, the unseen angle.

Well, I love the significance of the verse which adds to the creativity/composition of the shot. Not just another clever "where's a neat place to put the rings?" kind of shot. AND, I just realized- the shadows form a heart, now it really rocks!
Really like, 8 with the lighting and 9 is just a nice shot...the way you have them posed works well. And #18, again amazing lighting...some of it's luck, but you've handled it well. I like the ring shot also. I often struggle with ring shots, but may start carrying a bible with me and use this idea as a backup. I've seen the shot done with a single ring, but it looks to work just as well on the double.
I know the feling about thinking you didn't nail a wedding and then by the time you get thru processing, it's one of my favorites.
Martin - outstanding series but... 3 & 4 you could lose. They just don't do anything but show some bridesmaids that look really bored out of their mind. You've got some real winners here. Keep up the good work...

This is good to know. Exactly why I post here. I switched out #3 and #4. I think these are better.
#4 is the maid of honor and she was actually quite emotional but I guess that does not show as I hoped it might? In #3 the bridesmaids were actually quite engaged in what was going on.
#9 is really well composed and I enjoy the moment.
#16 really works well - great vision and thought... I'd also like to see the bible's on the table in focus with everything behind them out of focus - so you can tell it's the couple at the alter - but you've drawn the eye to the significances of the moment and where they are. Great lighting in the church you must have had some great ambient high level windows and a great time of day.
also... the ring shot on the bible is great as well.
No.14 i thought the boy was carrying a Torah ) though i suspected he's the ring bearer. I've seen the very beautiful christian paintings and the verses from the bible then i figured it was a christian wedding. Very nicely done i must say!
Would love to comment, but the shots are taking an eternity to load. Three have started and been like that for several minutes already. I'll try back another time.

looks good!
I was very pleased with how #16 turned out. Wish I had shot one focused on the bible to as you suggested. It was a beautiful chapel with a lot of light coming in through stain glass window behind. Wish they could all be like that!
