Thank you so much, Rich! It's always nice hearing from you and I'm delighted that you like it. The read crumbs are a mater of taste. Most people I've spoken to or heard from think they are a particularly nice touch. The bottom line with those was that i've looked at a lot of old Dutch still life paintings from which I modeled the lighting and setup. In those types of paintings where bread and cheese are often a prominent feature, such bread crumbs seem to be an integral part of the design. (Along with worms, butterflies and salamanders, but I couldn't find any of those ) Anyway, that's why the are there.
Warmest best wishes,
Endre

Superb as usual. One tiny nit: I'm not sure about the bread crumbs. IMHO, they distract slightly from the near perfect reflection. But its clearly a matter of taste. I love the clarity of your image. It feels as if I could reach right into the screen and grab a few grapes.
Thanks, Gotsy! Your opinion is always most appreciated. Glad you like it and the B & W, too. You're always been the B & W maven. Natural light - nothing much to it.
All best wishes,
Endre

Beautiful light, some day will have to learn how you do it. And well laid out. Your B&W conversion is top notch too. Good to be be back here.

Masterfully done Endre, The very prominent and obvious influences only add to the quality, I think.
