p.1 #1 · New Wacom Intuos-Timeline / History

Hi

i have been having a look at Wacom intuos tablets

And from the history release dates of the
Intuos - released in September 1998

Intuos2 - released in September 2001

Intuos3 - Released in September 2004

So generally they come out every 3 years with a new intuos model -

Looking at the timeline there should have been a Intuos4 last year -
Anyone know of any Intuos4 news ??

thanks

What do you want the intuos4 to do that the current version doesn't do? (AKA why do we need a new version now?)

Not trying to be sarcastic or anything. I've used the 3 for a few years and can't really think of anything that needs improvement (that isn't included in the higher model cique's).

i used my intuos for a few years nad my daugher uses it now and i have had it since 2002 and couldn't see the reason to get either the 2 or the 3 overall.

Why? Newer is not necessarily better.

I have two Intuos3 tablets. These tablets can handle every type of motion that is supported in software right now. A little while back they did add the Art Pen to the Intuos3 as an extra cost optional item to allow for rotational (I think) motion. Don't worry about an Intuos3 purchase ... these tablets are superb ... especially if you are only doing photo editing.
