As you can see I had not done any significant modifications - just a bit of contrast, sharpening and cloning out some od the dust.
TWoK, thanks! I don't think I have the patience to wait three weeks though. I suppose I'll just get a scanner. Great shots! Love the Lenin shot
Ulrik: Thanks! The problem with color film is, well, that the color sucks compared to digital. I'm waiting for digital MF to become more usable, get larger sensors and become affordable.

Looks much better! But I also realize that the lens has a very much smoother rendering than I thought. Is it the famous 105/2.4? Edit: I think it was the selective sharpening in the previous version that made it look "fake". It just can't be that smooth and sharp at the same time.
I'm using a rangefinder Fujica 6x7 for medium format, and the 100/3.5 lens is a tad slower than I'd want it to be. Still, the transition from DOF to blur is fantastic. So well corrected that sort of any 24x36 looks really bad in comparsion.
and pretty much why I would die for a simple way to do color medium format film :/ I have a darkroom with great gear, but it is mostly BW-oriented.
Jobo has some pretty neat setups for color developing, although they will set you back about $300-500 without chemicals. Tetnal colortec kits for E6 and C41 are reasonably priced when bought in bigger quantities (eg 100 rolls worth).
I'm looking into it myself as I just bought a huge pile of E6 film and the costs for developing E6 locally or by mail to a bigger lab are a bit onerous.
Wow, some amazing stuff here! Lovely, lovely, lovely!
You guys make me want to go out and buy a different scanner and get a medium format camera, bad!
Anywho, here is a recent one from me. My mac is at the Apple store have work done so my last roll of film that was scanned is still on the HD/Backup HD.
I have only shot 2 rolls of film with it and will probably sell it now that i have Zeiss Sonnar, but it has nothing to do with Industar, but more-so with not needing 2 different 50mm lenses. Also, since Sonnar is custom made, i had to adjust rangefinder according to it's infinity and now my other lenses are off (but still usable hyperfocally). It's nice and sharp (even wide open), lightweight and mechanically ok and quite flare resistant. It has a charming color rendition. Dof scale is quite accurate so hyperfocal shooting is easy.
