Ah thanks, I thought the 81A was warming and the B was cooling.
81, LBA and 85 are all warming filters for different situations.
82 is a cooling filter used to shoot daylight balanced film under tungsten light.
85 is a darker orange warming filter used to shoot tungsten film in daylight.
81 is a yellow orange filter for warming daylight film in shade/overcast. LBA is similar to an 81 filter.
81 with no letter following is the least dense colored of the 81 series followed by 81a, 81b, 81c... The same lettering is used on the 82 and 85 filters.
Here I was on the shaded side of a mountain and wanted to cut the blue/cyan from the yellow aspens. I would probably have chosen an 81a if I had it available.
6x7 is such a huge improvement in image quality from 35mm and there are such nice options for cameras in that format. I like the first and last shots in the series, though all are technically quite good.
Nate, your film work is some of the best I've seen on this forum or anywhere else for that matter. Phenomenal, it's like every frame wants to tell you a story.

That really means a lot to me. I'm glad you enjoy my shots!
