Oh, and I also don't like the results from Ilford Delta 3200. I much prefer using HP5 and pushing it to 3200. It could be that I'm the one to blame, when I home process Delta, but then I guess HP5 is more forgiving with my sloppiness.

I don't like them either. I'm glad I finished off the rolls I bought in a batch a while ago. I prefer Neopan 400 pushed to whatever or Neopan 1600.
X2. I have been experimenting with many different B&W films lately and I keep coming back to Neopan.
Very nice, TWoK! The moon is the topping on the cake.

I just tried some Tri-X for the first time, and I'm both dissatisfied and satisfied. The sharpness is CRAP in D-76 1+1, but on the other hand, the tonality is fantastic. These where shot with the Summicron-C 40/2 on an M6, which gave a slight front focusing. It's probably the camera, since my Biogon-C 35/2 also front focuses, but not that much. I shot mostly well stopped down, so the malfocus is probably not the reason for the scans being soft.
You can see the front focus in the shot of the cat. But you can also see the very smooth bokeh (probably f/2.8-4 or so).

[Thanks! So have you settled on an m-mount lens yet?
No, my M6 is front focusing slightly, so I'm using a recently purchased FM2 in the meantime. I'm gonna try calibrating the M6 myself.
Probably I'll use the Summicron-C 40/2 most of the time since I think the ZM 35/2.8 (along with my ZF:s on the Nikon) are "too sharp" for B&W film. But I'll keep the ZM for the future. I'm sure an M9 killer will be out some day.
Right now I like the FM2 so much that I won't care about the Leica for a while.
