Graham - I'm new to the FM boards, but I love what you're doing with the 6x17 format. I'm switching frequently between 2x3 and 6x6 and it takes me time to adapt. I'm sure it's doubly weird for you. Keep on posting!

I appreciate the kind words, Mark! I love images in 6x17, but I'm still getting used to almost everything about this camera including the ratio and field of view (90mm is pretty wide). It's certainly taking me a while to find shots I like, though that's also partially a lack of travel opportunities at the moment. I think I'll be lucky to take a roll each month, but we'll see! I have one more scan from this roll to post tomorrow.
The Cinque Terre c1995 taken with Plaubel Makina 670, Kodak Ektar 25, and scanned in Nikon LS9000ed using Vuescan. This was my second attempt at scanning. This was scanned at 4000dpi and took over 2 hours.

Your scan is actually quite nice, especially for a second time scan. It's tilted a bit, which you can see in the buildings and in the horizon, but why on earth did it take two hours to scan. It's been a while since I used that scanner but it was fast fast fast compared to my drum scanner which would have taken about 15 minutes for the same scan, and that's slow. It sounds to me like you've got another issue there slowing you down.

Yes, I'm trying to figure that out. When I scanned a slide, it was very fast. I'm waiting on some masks and will try the glass film holder and check my settings.
Thanks for your input. I just upgraded from the 5000, which I will sell, and am getting used to the 9000.
