Over the course of many years I've used lots of different film cameras: (35mm) various Nikon and Canon SLRs and a Leica M2; (medium format) Hasselblad 500C/M, Fujica GW690, Fuji GS645W, Mamiya RB67; (4x5) Sinar and Linhof Technica. I realised recently that I only missed two, the M2 and the Hasselblad. That led to me thinking about using film cameras and I've been fooling around with film for the past few months. I started with a Leica R8, then moved on to a Minolta XD-7, then a Leica R7, then a borrowed M2 which was a joy to use. I looked for an M2 to buy but found an M4 in fine condition at a reasonable price. It's perfect. By then I was sliding down the slippery slope towards a Hasselblad purchase. But that's another story. Here are a couple of early ones taken with the R8, the first on Fomapan Action 400, the second on Ilford Delta 400.

To further advance on this slope , a few more taken with my Hasselblad 500 C/M last week. Taken with Ilford FP4+ 125 film, developed with Rodinal (1:100).
