Welcome John, really nice shots you have there.
Thank you! I'm really enjoying getting back to shooting film. I studied Communication Design at Parsons School of Design back in the early 80's, and probably spent more time in the darkroom than the classroom! I happily shot film until the Canon 30D DSLR was introduced in 2001. I've enjoyed digital for the last 15 years, but getting back into film has been a revelation. Not chasing technical perfection anymore, which is liberating.
Testing my new to me Leica R9, with Leitz 35-70 F4 lens.
Selection below, Fuji C200, all scanned with a Nikon D850. With one I used an SF-24D flash in the auto fill in mode, to see how it works. Mounted on camera, directly pointing at the subject.
I tried DSLR (Pentax K-1 with Tamron SP 90 Macro ) copying of Fuji Acros and Velvia 50, taken on an old P6x7 and Fuji GA645 respectively.
Still some technique/equipment fine-tuning required, but I'm generally happy with the performance. Huss, using the LED light table and Lomo film holder that you plugged.
In the mid 1990s I bought a 4x5 so I could better photo the many abandoned houses on the Northern Plains. I sort of drifted away from shooting those about ten years later, but recently I've gone back to my roots! Below is abandoned house in Lily, SD. Camera= Chamonix 045n, Lens= Dagor 100mm (C.1920), Film= FP4+.

Hold on to your M7 Edward. Leica officially discontinued this camera. It's now a classic.
To be honest I’m not really surprised. Leica has already ceased production years ago and were just selling old batches. The M7 has a few unsolvable bugs in the electronics that have been giving Leica headaches since the camera was launched. I expect the MA to last quite long since it’s completely free of electronics.
Love the results with the pro image 100. It is the cheapest of any Kodak film and seems to be only available in Asia. I will try it as soon as possible
