Another 'comparison' of Bergger Pan 400 in 4X5. These two shot back to back w/same exposure on a Chamonix field camera with a Caltar-II 210mm f5.6 lens. The first is developed in Kodak HC110B, the second in Rodinal 1+50. I like this film; I'm thinking I will take a box out to Yosemite in October.
Good to play a little catch up on this thread. I've been distracted by digital projects recently. Still have 7 rolls of Ektar from 4th of July to digitize, so hopefully I'll get that done and have some more contributions. Regarding other work, lots of great B&W shots the past few pages, need to go back and appreciate them more. In the mean time, a few from a couple weeks back.
Contax IIa, Biogon 35mm f/2.8. Shot on HP5 @ 1600. I love the contrast, but wouldn't mind less grain.
Here is a recent Velvia 50 scan. I used my local lab and they scratched the heck out of the slide film so I am going to go back to using Little Film Lab out of California. I did a lot of touch-up in lightroom.
Scanned with Coolscan V and VueScan with the ColorPerfect plug-in.
Took my Chamonix 045n 4x5 along on a trip to Washington state last month, along with a couple of 19th C. lenses. Below shot is Multnomah falls, made with a c.1880 E&HT Anthony 4 inch (~100mm) rapid rectilinear, Acros. Shot at f45 (lens has rotating stops.) In the 1880s they generally cropped away the vignetting, but I think it adds to the image, so I kept it.
I haven't looked through all of the pages on this thread yet. Do you have a shot of the corsair as well? It is a Texas commemorative air force bird if I recall correctly. I took that shot in New Orleans at WWII museum function.

Welcome, BillyBlaylock, let's hope the bite lasts.
That shot of Cosmo is out of this world Abram! It extols the resolution of the G45.
psst: don't tell the Leica thread but I have also recently bought a Hexar RF (my 2nd ever) to go with my vintage M3. I'm sure the G2 is fantastic and I'm already a fan of the G21, G45 and G90
