Dan - This last trip was mainly to meet with my father's lawyer and deal with doctors and getting his house ready for him to come home to, which he finally did last Friday. I also started a new series of images of the textures of old Monterey - those going back to the 1700's. We'll see where that goes, but that one's digital not film.
Some shots with the Nikon F3T, the 50mm 1.2AIS, and the Zeiss 2/35 zf.2. Shot on Portra 160, scanned with an Epson v800 using VueScan and ColorPerfect...
1. 4x5 Pinhole camera from Ebay. I bought just the body parts & the ground glass - $130 shipped
2. A helicoid w/7mm travle on a Linhoff lens board. Also from Ebay, $125
3. Fabricated spacer to accomodate 90mm lens
The body as delivered was "sized" for a 60-65mm lens.
They could make a different body piece for a 90mm & I am lobbying them to consider it.
I had to add about 3/8" worth of spacer.
This was fab'd out of ABS sheet with the 3 1/4" hole cut by the supplier
It was a drill/dremel & router project with some ABS cement.
The spacer is removable.
It weights 2Lb, 5 oz with lens & film holder.
Of course you will need a light meter & some film.
If anyone wants the EBAY links, etc, will handle on PM
I need to do some light leak & reflections testing.
Hopefully in the next few weeks.
Some my ask WHY?
Well I shoot a fair amount at 90 mm with my Toyo and would like a lighter kit for backpacking.
I might also make up a 150mm kit if this works well
Just started shooting film and I'm loving it!
Below photo of me and my wife was taken at Seokguram, an UNESCO world heritage site in South Korea.
It was shot with a Minolta TC-1 and Fuji C200 film.
