Yeah, stand developed. Lazy that afternoon on developing. Rodinal makes it easy. Agitate for 30s, then let it sit. I do a very gentle agitation at 20m and 40m.
Thought about doing rodinal/stand development -- even made up some home-brew rodinal for that purpose.
Then I developed (get it) a terrible addiction to Harvy's 777. The above were that. One of my friends used up the rodinal before I got a chance anyway, and I have an unopened bottle of hc110....Just really love the 777
I have been really intrigued by Harvy's 777. Tempted to call and see when Bluegrass will do it's next run. Please share some more of your B&W developed with 777

Oh dang! Just research the Kodak Medalist. Very tempting
Dan, they're out there to be had. There were two on the auction site last time I looked. Unless it's just completely frozen up, you can probably get a roll of film thru it to evaluate the lens. Getting them CLA'd is another matter, There are two guys, Manfred Schmidt in Chicago and Ken Ruth in Califormia, who have the best reputations in that regard. Haven't used Herr Schmidt yet and Ken Ruth has had my Medalist I for three months now. I can recommend Cameraworks in Latham NY. Decent job for a reasonable fee. Search for ebay seller beneefoto(sp).
A few from Yosemite with the Toyo 4x5,
Using either the 150 or the 90mm
Shot on Portra 160. probably 100 or 125 ISO
Definitely less saturated than Ektar & lower contrast.
I like the change but still need to order more Ektar

I like the shots, but I see a purple cast to all of them. Is that normal?
No, but my color vision isn't either
I usually wait til the next day to post to double check. My bad.
I need to get used to what Portra looks like compared to Ektar & adjust accordlingly
Anyone have any experience with a Minolta Autocord CDS III? I have always been interested in TLR cameras and this one kind of fell into my lap. It appears to be in excellent shape. Need new light seals, but beyond that, I don't think it needs anything else other than a battery. Speaking of the battery, it uses a mercury cell... Any thoughts on a modern equivalent?

When I sold my Rollei I thought about getting one as a replacement. After I handled one, it felt like it would take some getting used to ergonomically (focusing, etc, is done differently). I looked for a while for a used model which didn't require much work and gave up after a while.
There's a guy, Karl Bryan, who is supposedly the expert on overhauling Minolta TLRs.
For what it's worth, if I were going to get another TLR, I'd look serious at the Mamiya C-series. Super cheap, bellows focusing, with removable lenses - very unique as far as TLRs go!
