That is a great shot regardless of the format. It would be nice if the camera were squared up as the steps look a little strange, but graphically its very well done

The shadows seem a little more blue than they need to be, but the overall tonality of that image is really nice. It has a softness to the colors that only color negative can offer.

This is one of my favorite shots I've seen on FM. Such a nice painterly quality to it, and it seems to capture some personality of the bird somehow.
