Thanks, guys. I manage to get lucky now and then. Tom, I do my own processing, B&W and C-41. Just too economical, no more than I shoot. Use the 'taco method' and a Paterson tank. Easy peasy.
Sent two rolls of 120 out to PhotoVision in Oregon for development and scan. I've very pleased with the results!
I did notice an issue with the shutter. On some of the photos (maybe one below) I can see the shutter in the frame. I wonder if Pentax is still performing repairs/CLAs for the 6X7 system?
Pentax 6X7
Mixture of SMC Takumar 105/2.4 & SMC 165/2.8
Kodak Portra 400 & Fuji PRO 400H

Great shots Alpha_Geist! I just picked up a Pentax 6x7 w/ MLU and the 55mm f/4. Can't wait to run a few rolls through it.

Thanks!
I'm having a blast with mine! The 55/4 can focus soooo close too. Unfortunately, I won't have mine for a little while since I sent it to a local repair shop for a CLA as the 1/500 & 1/1000 shutter speeds were inconsistent.
When you get yours (if you haven't already), I would recommend a CLA for piece of mind at the very least.

I have the option to pick up a Nikon Coolscan 8000 ED locally for $600 with manuals, CD, cables, 135 (negs & slide) and 120 film trays.
Is there anything I should be aware of?
Drivers. Look at the mirror.
Your PC must have a firewire port. If it does not you can buy firewire cards fairly cheaply.
Download vuescan to get around the drivers issue. I have even managed to install NikonScan and got it working with Windows 10 and it works great with my Coolscan 8000 and 9000.
If you use Windows and want to use the NikonScan software make sure you install Vuescan first (even the trial version will do) as this will install the correct drivers. Only then install NikonScan and do a custom install and DO NOT install the drivers - it will use the Vuescan driver and work perfectly. I have found NikonScan to be superior when scanning in C41 film however use Vuescan for all my B&W scanning
Vuescan does work with a Mac too as long as you have a firewire port.
If you plan on scanning 120 film using the a glass carrier is a must to keep the film flat.

Awesome! I have a laptop with the small 1394 firewire port on its side. I might pick up a cheap firewire card for my desktop though. I do have VueScan already installed as I prefer that to SilverFast Ai scanning software. I'm glad that I can use the VueScan drivers alone or along with the NikonScan software.
Thank you both for the heads up! I'm going to Google the scanner mirror and see what that's about. I'm guessing it just needs to be cleaned. I hope I can do this myself without voiding the warranty...

Depending on how much the scanner was used, there can be a lot of dust build up on the mirror. Nikon designed the mirror to be under the film strip, so everything falls on it. I have also seen a build up of film on the mirror, which requires removal of the mirror, careful cleaning, and reinstallation. That is dicey and hard. It would also be a good idea to see scans from the unit and if at all possible, test before you buy. The first 5000ED I got, was a mess and needed cleaning of the mirror, film transport wheels, and fresh lube on all moving parts. It was about an 11 hour job. First time I reassembled, I put the mirror in backwards...
