I find the oly stylus epic the perfect camera for my motorcycle. It is light enough to carry around my neck and quick enough for easy snaps. From a roll of gold 400 last month, souped at home and scanned on a pakon
Awesome cat shot Jon (as usual). Your bike looks like a sweet ride. Now that I'm moving to rural USA, I've thought about first learning, and then getting a ride. I dont know how smart an idea that is, being 48 and never once having ridden a motorcycle. I should just stick with cars I suppose.
Lol, I had not ridden one since early college, 20 years prior when I bought that bike. Like a bicycle, you never forget. Speaking of bikes, not much to it but if you do, take it slow and take a riding course. Rural USA is made for back country riding. As for cats, I have plenty of subject matter. These critters offer plenty of opportunities.
Amazing images Katie and Rob and enjoyed the motorbike trip from Jon the cat picture is so cute - love the clipped shadows look of the scan.
I keep on processing and scanning the images from my recent summer vacation in Alonissos - Greece
Film used is Rollei/CN200 rated at ISO100 scanned with a Nikon Coolscan 9000. PP in photoshop and lightroom. Developed with the Tetenal C41 kit for 5:30min at 35'C

You like rangefinders and should consider getting a Mamiya 7. The results we see in this thread from this camera are very impressive.
Sold mine last year... Loved it, but got out of medium format and only shoot 35mm now. It was a phenomenal camera.

Wow...I missed that you ever had a Mamiya 7. Must not have had it too long. A shame that it did not work out for you. Too big?
Thank you for the lovely comments everyone. The Mamiya 6 is a bit smaller than the 7 and has a collapsible lens mount which makes it very easy to travel with and takes up minimal space.
The 75mm and 50mm lenses that I have now are outstanding in terms of contrast and sharpness which works very well for the graphic style of pictures that I usually take but may be less suitable for portraits.
Forgot to mention....B & H dropped off a package today. 20 rolls of film now in hand so my cameras have ammo ready to go once I have some time. I'm not sure how I'll get scans done as I still do not have a home here in the US yet. Things are moving slow so it will have to take a bit more time.
Lol, I purposely shoot a cat shot per roll just for you I appreciate the feedback. The deer shot was a fluke as I stumbled upon them and they were as intrigued with me as I was with them. It was a test roll with my new (to me) k1000 and having this generic lens with me, I wanted to see how it performs. Well, the highlights are soft and glow (kinda dreamy) and the contrast is low but the bokeh is nice in a crappy sort of way (if that makes sense). So, I am pleased
