This is very sweet, and beautiful! Do you happen to meter, if so, would you recommend a budget meter for film, preferably digital? Thank you!
I use an app called Pocket Light Meter on my iPhone. It allows you to take several spot meterings if you need to.

I have that but gave up on it after too many erroneous readings.
I found it works great in good light conditions, but so does Sunny F16, and when things get darker it is hopelessly inaccurate. It recently gave me 'too dark' messages, when I estimated (accurately from the results) the exposure at 1/15 f2.0 200 ISO for the photo of the lady on the stairs that I recently posted on this thread.
I use an iPhone 4S, maybe that's why?

I have one on my Galaxy Note 3 called, well, lightmeter lol, however, I sort of doubted the accuracy as I never had an actual meter to test it on! Thanks for the suggestions everyone
Finally got back to developing some BW.
Finished off my 1st roll of TMAX in the Canonet
Souped it w/Rodinal 1+25 , just need to scan
Here's from a box of TMAX-100 I hadn't developed til tonite.
Tried Stand - soup w/Rodinal 1:100. Contrast was just a bit off but will try to fine tune it.
Anyone have experience or comments about a Nikon LS 2000 film scanner?
I am looking at something better suited for film strip scanning than my Epson 4990.
I know the Pakons are great, but too much for the budget
Dan, I hope the pakons drop back down in price. They really are the bees knees. I paid 250 and now they are upwards of a grand. Hopefully the balloon will burst and prices will drop back down to a reasonable rate as I would like a 2nd/backup. No experience on the LS2000 but I couldn't imagine going back to Epson flatbed scanning 35mm. I think I would give it (35mm film shooting) up and go digital full time again.
Jon, yes I saw the Pakon prices. At $250 I would have considered it.
I found out the LS2000 is SCSI & requires an adapter that no one seems to have any luck with.
So I went with the Better Scanning ANR class inserts for the 35mm holder.
I have had good success with the ANR inserts when doing MF film, so we'll see!
Thanks

When needed I am using a Gossen DIGISIX 2. It does the job correctly.

MarcG, phenomenal Monument Valley capture. Really like your CLE above as well, eeery mood.
Thanks Jon ! Sadlly my english is too poor to get "eeery" (sorry for that)
Your set with the yellow filter is great. I'll try once because I am only using red filters and this is a bit harsh. Here is a sample :

Whoa!! That's a pretty light commitment to film Jon!
@ rattymouse, Wouldn't give up on film, just have given up on flatbed scanners. I would probably have to go for hr-500 or sp2000/2500/3000. I have accumulated waaaay too much film to give up any time soon
@MarcG, from the free online dictionary, eery, Inspiring inexplicable fear, dread, or uneasiness; strange and frightening
Means you got some good mood going on in the picture. It worked for me
rattymouse,
Truth be told, I have procured items to accomplish this.
I got an old enlarger cheap for its adjustable column and a macro lens for my 5D
Have some simple stage stuff for bigger negs.
Not exactly sure about a light source but may try my light table.
If my epson 4990 gives out, faced with getting a V750 (will get cheaper now with intro of v850)
For now will just keep my fingers crossed
