I can expose for full shade with noon light on background and not blow anything using tmax 100 and xtol personally.
That sounds impressive. I am just getting back into film after many years. I imagine lab developed negatives would be as pliable?

How much dynamic range are you guys getting from your negative scans?
Yeah, I mean it obviously depends on the film you're using, and the scanning hardware. Some of the better scanners can certainly pull an insane amount of data from shadows, and, try as I may, I haven't been able to blow the highlights from a portra or any b&w shot. YMMV.

I assume this is 6x7... what camera? Very nice.
Thank you, yes a 6 x 7; a Fujifilm GF670. These shots were actually throw away shots, because at the time, I thought that they would be garbage due to extremely slow shutter speeds. I cant recall exactly the shutter speeds but they were something like 1/8th of a second (hand held), with an 80mm lens! Yet the first one is REALLY sharp and the second one is only slightly blurred. I LOOOVE those leaf shutters. No slap at all.
We've had a terrible drought here for quite some time. Ordinarily I'd be up to my knees (or higher) in water but as you can see my shoes didn't even get wet after I jumped into the canal.
