OK, I tried my kitchen fridge. Not much room for me and wife always saying "what's this"?
Then got one of the microwave size fridges, Not only too small, but not effective.
Then someone gave me nice little 3ft x 2ft that actually works!
Now I can keep both boxed stuff & loaded 4x5 holders.

I will take pic but can't match corposant's selections

Thing is, with me, I am afraid to shoot film, because I haven't really learned how, nor how to load it! I read some recent tutorials again, and in the past a cool FM'er explained it to me, but instead I went the polaroid route, and enjoyed it, so I ignored the learning process! I fear that I will ruin the film, rather than put it to proper use, and to top it off, my Mamiya RB isn't functioning properly! I thought it was the lens, so I bought another, only to come to the same conclusion, the shutter wont fire on the leaf lens! I did manage to get a few Polaroid/FujiFilm's off of it based on my timing the exposure via countdown, 1/1000, 2/1000, or, for some, one Mississippi, and so on! This method is not going to be very practical, especially with film! I shoot almost exclusively indoors however, so, maybe, I could make it happen, with enough courage, and more practice with the instant film!!

Hmm, ISO 400, aperture set to f/5.6, what would the shutter speed be for a medium format film camera? I use it with the same indoor lights, the spirally ones, and with natural outdoor light as well, hell, I usually leave the indoor off in this case! I do like to shoot at night tho, so that I don't mixi the two??!!

Thanks K.R, but, sometimes, I feel I'm not even in the same aura, and this, this sometimes leads to my migraines! xD I shall overcome my fear, and when I do, I shall shoot merrily, and post said results, whether mediocre, or even possibly sublime!!

I shoot film for the sheer joy of it, learning be damned!

I just picked up a Mamiya Super 23 w/6X7 and 6X9 rollfilm holders because 'I've GOT to have that'. Never mind that I have a perfectly good Mamiya 7 and any number of folding 6X9, as well as a 'Texas Leica'. What can I say? GAS.

Anyone here shoot a Mamiya Press? Recommendations? Suggestions?

Kenny

Fuji GF670 or Bessa III

amazing camera, folds nicely when you dont need to shoot.
was planning to get the Wide version too but it's too expensive for my blood and not as compact as the GF670, ended up pairing the 670 with a GSW690 III

I believe anyone that wants to get into photography should skip a digital at first and start with a cheap manual 35mm camera and some B&W to learn the basics. It FORCES you to learn what and why you are actually choosing your settings. Plus, when you screw up, you just ate the cost of that film, which unless you love throwing away money, you learn FAST.

I know that most people wouldn't actually do this in today's age unless you start with a school course that teaches B&W. I fell that if i didn't start shooting film when I was learning, I would not be at the stage in my photo career that i am now. /randomthoughts

This is a Fuji GF670 folding camera. I bought the GF670W non folding wide angle camera late last year and love it so much that I want the sister folding camera with a tighter lens than the wide angle found on the GF670W.

Completely messed up the development on this roll of HP5+. Thought I was developing at 68, but really was at 62. I left the roll in longer, but not nearly long enough resulting in very very thin negatives. I still liked this shot though:

Beautiful camera! Would love to get my hands on one, but I think I may end up with a Mamiya 6 instead.
