Got 3 rolls of Ektar 100 ruined during last trip - 120 rolls don't have feed sprockets and keep slipping off the roll in the Mamiya RZ67 loader.....sigh.
At least Fujichrome rolls got a film fastening pin and hole. No more kodak for me then!
From deep on the Old Coast Road in Big Sur last Saturday. It's so dark in there that this was about a ten second exposure at f/11. The unfiltered Velvia was quite a bit bluer than this, but this feels pretty right overall. Mamiya 7, 50mm.

Wish I could have been there - my trip up the coast was rained out a couple weeks ago!
I was going to call you and see how it went. That sucks. Well, it looks like I might be back up there next week, as I'm going to shoot at Skywalker, and will come through Monterey on the way back.
Beautiful Golden, Michael. What a wonderfully wistful expression which is characteristic only of Golden's, I think, and you sure got it right Portra 160 does a really nice job. I can't remember what film I used of Emma, thinking it was Portra 400 maybe.
Something completely different from the previous. I actually thought this roll never existed, as the shutter died on one of my Holga's. This roll was not what I thought it was. From the Mission San Miguel in the southern Salinas Valley, heading north on the way to Monterey last March.
I thoroughly enjoy coming to this thread. So many great photographers taking spectacular images on a fantastic medium, film! I hope to share some from this fall soon. Lots of scanned rolls to go through, just not enough time.
Here's a few from my first couple of rolls... Still learning how to develop and scan myself but this film thing sure is fun. All with an OM2N / 50 1.4 / Tri-X 400.
Been gone for some time now, but am catching up on all the posts! I had a remodel done on my home and had to lock up ALL the cameras in a safe closet; cover them in plastic and tape the door shut (took all precautions with dust and such). Just developed my first roll in about a month and scanned yesterday. Also made some AWESOME 11x14 prints in the darkroom yesterday. So happy to be back in the swing of things.
