What's your verdict on Contax metering, did you compensate for the supposed underexposure of it's metering here?
yeah, i took edward's advice and dialed in +2/3 compensation except when shooting at night, which matched my comparative metering on the nex-7 pretty well.
here are some shots from my recent trip to italy. i shot one roll of b/w film and three slide films, so when i get around to scanning them all, i will post some more.
here are some of my first scans. all velvia 50, all scanned with my reflecta proscan 7200.
i hope you like them:
Recently picked up a Pentax 6x7 and a couple of lenses. Still getting used to focusing (the stock microprism finder is a little dim), but it's a lot of fun to shoot. Here's my favorite shot from the first roll of Tri-X:

Which lenses did you get? There are some really excellent ones out there for not a lot of money...

c00kiem0nster, Looks great, why not post 1024 version here?
thanks
actually i had not even thought about that. i was used to posting smaller versions ever since another forum where i used to post pictures resized them when they were too large.
thus in large format, some more shots:
same camera, same scanner, same place, but shot on provia 400x:
And lots of other inspiration here too! Could some of you guys that dont develop yourself enlighten me on your workflow?
I just go myself a Contax camera and put in a TMax400 film. I wont develop myself - what is there to think about, do different labs develop differently? And how do you get your films scanned? I do not intend to buy a scanner - and I am sure my initial results will look pretty bad exposed etc. And after scanning, what kind of PP (if any) do you do?
Really could use some advice here, thanks in advance!
