100 Ektar with my Nikkors

120/5.6

75/4.5

The 120/5.6 Nikkor-AM is not suited to 4x5 at infinity regardless of aperture, contrary to any online reports. I am buying a 110/5.6 Super-Symmar XL in the next day or so.

The 75/4.5 Nikkor-SW is too wide for the B+W hood I have on my Lee filter holder. It vignettes

Thank you Robert and Katie

First time I've developed black & white in 13 years, better shots coming, this is just the first one that dried.
Amusingly, not shot on Delta.

TMax 400, 75mm Nikkor

EDIT: here's another, same shooting info

Here's another really old one
HP5+, 75mm Nikkor - this film is MUCH grainier than TMax 400 developed identically in Ilford DD-X , and the depth of field is doing something crazy, don't know which movements I used...

Thanks!
Silverfast 8 SE (mine bluescreens if I use over 1600 dpi though) or Epson scan with my v700

TMax should be much finer grained than HP5, interesting! Enjoying the orange filterated shot the best anyhow! Do your lenses vignette with your RF75?

Edd, you really nailed the focus so well. Not so easy even at f/4. Beautiful shot!

Hi,

KatieInTexas: Thank you...

Edward: I did backup the split-image focus with a tape measure because of the MFD, just in case. The results were spot-on...

I may end up pulling my baby Speed Graphic (2x3) out of storage if this film stuff keeps up!

Regards,

Edd

Thanks Corposant, Katie and Edd I'll scan more later today!
Yeah must say, I like Tmax 400 a lot so far.

I bought a Lee push-on 100mm system since the centre filter brings the thread size up to 86mm. I have two Lee grads (1.5 and 2.5 stop) as well as a Daryl Benson Singh-ray reverse 3 stop. I bought the filter attachment ring and a 105mm B+W Kaesemann linear pol for that. Pricey all up.

Daniel,

The price may be high, but when you buy quality, it means (usually) not having to buy twice .
My Linhof gear I purchased during the 70's (Mono-rail & Master Technika) still serve me well to this day. I enjoy your photographic vision...you use your tools well...

Regards,

Edd
