Honestly, those first three are lighting nightmares. Film just doesn’t have the dynamic range of digital. Considering that - I thought you did well to get what you did. It isn't skill or the lab - it is the media - imo
Hm I don’t know about that. You should be able to get pleasing results in these situations with color negative film, esp 250D which has huge dynamic range.
I think color balance of the scans is kinda screwed up. If it was my film, I’d change to a different lab for scanning or do it myself..
Also looks like these were underexposed, as shadows go quite muddy. Probably relying on a built-in reflective meter that was thrown off by the bright patches?

I'm sure to the eye it looked a pleasant scene, but capturing it is a challenge for both film and digital. It is why I thought he did a good job of it.
Infrared fantasies with the Diana 151, Rollei Superpan 200 with an R72 filter on the Diana. My Diana has no bulb mode so to get these I had to push the film to 1600; with the R72 filter bringing it down to roughly ISO 25 or 50 so I can shoot handheld.
I've been enjoying my film photography so much. Just sent some scans in from a playdate where my duaghter wore rainbow rain boots and all the kids had icee pops! I'm not able to upload an image but I'll send the gallery if anyone wants to see!
I shoot on my Canon EOS-1n and use Kodak 200 rated at ISO 100

Welcome to the forum! Many of us use Flickr and post from there. Flickr offers a free account for a limited amount of images. There are instructions on how to post your images in the Miscellaneous forum. Hope this helps.

That's kinda what my vision is like early in the morning.
Same here, pre-coffee. I think my Diana's images are even more lo-fi than usual because it fell out of my bike bag during a ride a couple of weeks ago and the entire lens assembly popped off. Some internal mechanism flew off into the bushes and I couldn't find it. I was able to push the lens back on, but now I can only use it wide open.
I have another one on order that should be here in mid-July. That one has a bulb mode so it'll be a little more versatile.
