The Shanghai GPX 100 220 film does have very nice tones. The first batch they made was a complete disaster - greasy finger prints everywhere, uneven emulsion coating - but their stuff now seems just fine.
Pretty much the only way to buy new/fresh 220 film.

There aren't a lot of choices for 220 so stepping up the QC may have folks digging out the old backs. Nice tones with the Df96!
I have noticed using DF96 that temps are really important to the final result using the Shanghai film.
Usually I dev at 75° with 10 sec agitation every minute, but that seems too hot for this film and things go screwy.
So I do the 70° with 5 sec agitation every minute.

Reflx Lab also sells some 220 films:
Their ProColor 100 (Kodak Aerocolor IV 2460) is available in 220 as well as 120.
They sell Vision 3 500T in 220 (must be processed in ECN-2)
They sell their Pan 200 (Agfa Aviphot 200) in 220
And they have a new "Fortuna SHD 400" B&W film in 220.
They are even selling colour 127 film (Fortuna C200) now, for pretty cheap, $39 USD for a three-pack.

Sound of needle scratching across a record, everyone in the bar goes silent...
