One thing I love about shooting old cameras is double exposures. This shot was a mistake however, to me at least, it works. Was shooting a sun flower field that was way past peak and in decay a few weeks back. With a crop, the field looks very interesting to my eye. More like an oil painting than a photograph.
Thought about and even attempted some simple PS filters to make it look more like an abstract landscape however I think it conveys that on it's own. What say you?

I believe I understand what you mean. From the samples I have seen and one (only) exposed and scanned roll I tried, it often has some reddish tint mainly on skin tones.
I can't recall anyone mentioned it here, but could be wrong. I wouldn't want to jump into conclusions but that's the way it seems to me now.
Someone will surely say that Portra is for skin anyway but nevertheless...
i really like your work from your travels through mongolia! and not only are your photos superb, the storytelling that goes along with it is great, too. cannot wait for the blog
Thanks so much! My wife and older daughter (15yo) generally avoid me when I carry the camera, but Liv (12 yo) is a little more forgiving to her old dad!
