Dear stranger on the internet. If you are looking for set screws that holds the focus ring on an Agfa Isolette III 75 mm f/3.5 Solinar, you are looking for a Grub Set Screw M1.4 x 2mm CONE POINT. They are available here: https://polarbearcamera.com/products/pbl-cp-s1420c
I suspect they also work on the Isolette II and all other lenses, but I do not know for sure.
Interestingly whether on a film body or digital, the AE metering goes out of the window. To get correct exposure on digital I need to use the EV and dial in exposure comp, on the M7 I just set it to +2EV and leave it at that.
Or just Sunny F16 it.
I just picked up an Isolette III 75 mm f/3.5 Solinar, so I'll take it through its paces
I think those front cell focusing lenses were optimized for 10-12' at f8-11. They are both less good at infinity or close up. You need to stop down quite a bit when shooting near the minimum focusing distance.

I was not expecting good performance at close focus and f/11, but I was expecting the focus to not be off by 6" given that I had calibrated the focus using a tape measure and this:
Perhaps my mistake was in assuming that there is no aperture dependent focus shift? I did the calibration at f/3.5 while the test shot was done at f/11. Perhaps the issue is that I tried to find perfect focus. Maybe I should have tried to interpolate optimum focus by doing a V-curve?
Focal was a brand for both Sears and Kmart. It's most likely GAF Color Print Film (cue Henry Fonda for those of us old enough to remember the commercials) Plus they almost always had a dollar off coupon.
I bought my first real camera, a Minolta SRT 101, from Kmart.
