And the 28mm 1.4D! Dang you are collecting 'em all!
Figured as long as I can buy them right, I'd try a bunch of them and keep what I like and sell the rest. I've already started selling some lenses, but my camera cabinet is turning into a camera room
started developing b&w myself again after a long hiatus, and slowly but sure getting things dialed-in again..
..negatives looking good all in all, yet I noticed these dark spots on some of my last films, as in the image below -
..like, left to the #14, left to the #7 and #8, and (very slightly) at #6..
This did not happen in-camera, right? But how and when did it happen during the developement stage?
[edit] - do realize now this must be some light leak (from the camera) - as it's only with shots, where the camera was out in the sun for a prolonged period of time (did not occur once during the next 20 frames, which were all shot indoor).
I just got confused as the leak seems contained to the barcode / perforation area, and doesn't really flow into the image itself it seems..

Bottom left means top right on your camera.. check to see what your light seals look like.
It’s not in the image itself so not a huge worry at the moment. Cover the camera back edges with tape on your next roll to see if it goes away.
The Grandma and Grandpa Peabody Boulders, Buttermilks, Bishop. Some of the world's boldest and hardest boulder problems are on these two 50+ foot boulders.

I just noticed fogging on the edge of some film I developed and immediately remembered my tank leaked during processing. After an inspection, the tank lid had a hole (where there's an interior post to hold and inner lid). I glued it with some gray 2-part epoxy, and that should hold, but I've always wanted a nikor stainless steel lid. Just sayin'.

Looks like I have to ask my fiancé if she would like to go Big Bend State Park, lol
Totally worth it! Years ago (back when Terlingua was still a ghost town inhabited largely by artists) I took a road trip for work, following the Rio Grande from McAllen, Texas all the way up to Taos, New Mexico, staying in national parks and fish & wildlife refuges the whole way. Big Bend National Park was incredible. The park is so large that it has its own Zip code, and what I remember most, apart from having to constantly dodge javelinas on the road, was the diversity of landscapes packed into it, from desert to forested mountains. I also remember the smell of creosote bush, the thud of jackrabbits' feet on the desert floor, and the still-steaming pile of mountain lion scat that we encountered in the middle of a trail early one morning.
