Roll 165: First roll with the 203 FE which I bought in case my 2000 FCW bites the dust. I also used this as an opportunity to see if selecting a single channel in the b/w conversion in C1 improves resolution. Green wins, Blue is a close second, Red is a distant third.
Acros and Rodinal of course. First couple of frames with the 80/2.8 F.
Next three with the 350/4. The first frames I took with this lens on a previous roll were very soft, so I set up in more controlled conditions at home to do a focus test. I wanted to see close focus performance at f/4 + f/8 and tele performance at f/8. All used MLU and cable release.
Close focus, f/4, ~1/8 s, 50% crop
Close focus, f/8, ~1/2 s, 50% crop
Both frames above show a double vertical line but a single horizontal line indicating vibration from the shutter. I'll have to adjust my tripod strategy when using this lens with long exposures. This is not surprising.

Have you started adding weight to the tripod?
Not yet, and since the 350/4 FE is heavy enough I would like to avoid extra weight if possible. I will start with opening the tripod legs wider while leaving the center column as low as possible.

Kudos for using Rodinal. It really adds a lot to an image when handled properly.
Many thanks, but I think my final look is dominated by the film curve I use in Silverfast. But I do like Rodinal, and it even gives true ISO400 with HP5.
