no. this is why my camera repair dood - Dean and Dean's Camera in Torrance - says to avoid all pricey p&s cameras. None are built to last so just get a cheap one that is still excellent. And they are cheap because they have not been 'discovered' by influencers.

Pentax 628 + HP5
My first B&W ever ( still have a roll of Tri-x 400 waiting for developed ).
TBH, I just not a B&W person. In the future, I will continue to shoot B&W but may be 1:20 compare to color.

I think B&W requires a different way of seeing. I tend to shoot B&W more in winter here, when the shadows are long and the trees are bare, and then I switch to colour in the spring, summer, and autumn. I've been retraining my eye in the past month to shoot B&W and just finished a couple of rolls of RPX 400, and have other B&W films on deck. It takes me a while to switch from one mode to the other.

Like @skylight1b mentioned, the first shot is great in B&W. Indoor arena lighting often really throws off the colour balance and things just look murky. This looks great.
I just got 5 rolls developed and scan from a lab in Oakland, CA and so here are my 5 favorites from those rolls. Also, it appears my Bronica S2A has a shutter capping problem, so now it's going back to the ebay seller. As luck would have it, I just picked up a Bronica EC-TL locally. The person selling it got it from as estate sale and had listed it on ebay but was local so I saved quite a bit from his asking price and from paying sales tax.
