What is interesting w the Holga is how some images show light vignetting, whilst others show extremely heavy vignetting. The only control the photographer has is focus, two apertures (f8, f11), two shutter speeds - 1/100 and B, and the composition re direction of light.
I think the position of the light source must really influence vignetting.
I love this one! If you haven't already watched it, you might enjoying watching "Icon: Music Through the Lens," which has tons of interviews and back stories with rock and pop photographers of the 1960s through present. It includes some great footage of Gered Mankowitz and others talking about taking photos of Jimi Hendrix, and describing what that experience was like. I bought the series and have watched it at least 8 times, lots of great (and inspiring) stuff.
