He was also carrying his skateboard. Nice guy. But, perhaps, so hung over that he had forgotten how to scooter or skate.
I dunno, maybe it’s just me and my suspicious nature .. “try this Sony, it’s just like using a real camera!”… but anyone with a skateboard pushing a scooter. Well, that scooter is stolen.
Pulled out some recent negatives to give the new Sony a try. first, it's really nice being tethered diredtly in to Lightroom and not having to go through a two step process to import the files and use a separate application just to view them. The bump from 24mp to 33 is noticeable. It'll take a few tries to get the workflow but here are a few from the first time out.

That scooter has been stolen so many times that it transcends the concept of property.

Stolen scooter? No, it's ride sharing. He steals it, parks it, someone else steals it and so on.
My initial thought was, I really didn't want to spend that much money on a camera just for scanning. I had sold several lenses and I have the A7II packed for a road trip to Smyrna, Georgia. All of that will cover most of the cost of the A7CII. After a few hours tonight, with every scan, things were faster, easier and making me appreciate all of the little time savers I hadn't been able to access before.
Thanks! The one issue so far is NLP keeps defaulting to TIFF instead of Camera Scan. I’ve been through the Sony’s menus but haven’t found anything to change. I have a much better tethering cable coming and once that arrives, maybe I’ll find an answer.
No regrets, glad I made the upgrade.
P.S. changed the camera output to RAW, hopefully that’ll be the fix.
Fixed my import problem. The scans I posted last night were imported to NLP as TIFF files. After checking the camera menu, I realized I hadn't selected RAW as my output preference. Now when I open NLP, Digital Camera is the default mode . A couple of the same but these are RAW conversions with NLP, no other adjustments.

Now I wonder if I should give the HP5 another chance? The Harmons will be here shortly and I'll have a couple of rolls.
Sure, especially as they come loaded!
After seeing the Harmon at my local, I really should have picked one up for $17. But I have so many others already! But $17 WITH FILM!!!!
eh, just as well...
