Since it’s been serviced, the 35D is spot on with focus. A perfect canine level combo!
It focused perfectly before the blades got oily, but you can see why I wanted this lens fixed! It is so good. And Dean's Camera Repair in Torrance, CA did a great job. He was a Nikon service tech for years before he started his own business.

Nikon F6, Nikkor 50mm 1.4G, Kodak Ultramax 400, scanned by me on Epson V800 as well.
Some complain about this film but, geez, I love the results. I'll definitely be buying more.
Agreed! The only current production colour films that I will not be buying again is the garbage Wolfen NC400/500 stuff.
I've been extremely happy with all the colour film I have bought from Kodak or Fuji. So much so that I mainly buy the cheapest 200/400 stuff because I've never looked at the results and wished I used Portra or whatever else. I think one huge reason is using the hybrid workflow of scanning and then processing 'digitally' maintains the basic film look goodness, but allows you to adjust colour temps, saturation etc.

You know how much work I had to do to this shot? I lowered the mid-tones in the red channel -3. That's it.
I'm loving the Fuji 200/400 and Kodak Ultramax and Gold. I really love the Gold. What great emulsions. Even my 6 year old Ektar from previous posts that had been frozen scanned well with minimal adjustments.

Exactly. I think a lot of it comes down to 'reviewers' who excuse their pics by saying they used this 'cheap' film to test the gear, but their real pics are shot on Portra. Dood, my real pics are shot with whatever film is in the camera!
This pizzeria was an old fashioned soda fountain in years past in Hollidaysburg, PA. When I was a kid it was a combo soda fountain and locally owned drug store (Treese's). They used to make the best cherry Coke's using maraschino cherry juice. Ice cream was of course available as well. The penny candy was also there if the kids weren't sugared up enough before they left.
At least a business is in there still, but nothing will replace those memories.

One of the side trips that I never had the chance to do on our trip to Doylestown last year, was to go to Allentown and see the steel factory that's a museum and walking tour. From pictures, it and it looks like a lot of good photo opportunities
