My (new to me) n90 is acting up with an f-- error. Pressing the dof preview button will fix it momentarily or induce it. Ordered an n90s since KEH won't take the N90 back after 14 days.
Always best to get the N90s. It was a good update to the N90, and you're the first person here I've seen mention the original N90. I have an N90s myself and I've taken some good images with it (shot my last roll of Kodachrome on it). It helps that I got it for $40 here.
Three images from myself here. They all have something in common, which is that they were on a set of negatives I've since lost. I scanned them the night before, fortunately, so I know what was on them, but I'll never get to print them in the darkroom. Very disappointing. They're on Pan F 50.
All of these would be printed by now if I still had the negatives.
luminosity: great tones in that 3rd one. And thanks for the info. I knew the n90 wasn't as popular but it was $25! N90s was $50 so hopefully it works out. I shouldn't have sold my f100 two years ago .
Agree with c.d.embrey - that lighting is great cellison. Love the grain too.

Nice results out of the Ektar. I hate that film.
I hated it too .. and then I forced myself to use it enough to find out why I hated it. This last shoot, I used the 81A warming filter and was forced to shoot in full sun at noon. Honestly wasn't that bad of results! It was warm and handled the contrast well. Now, in the shade and inside - not sure at all ... came out super cool and contrasty the last time I used it.
