So how do I have a IIc with and f/2.0 lens?
At some point it was transplanted from a IIIc. Not hard to do since the lens mount was designed for interchangeable lenses. Fortunately for you, both the focus and rangefinder have been adjusted for the lens to work properly. It's a really nice combination and the 2.0 Schneider is a great lens.

I doubt my store took that into account in their sales price . . . lucky me!

Thanks Huss! So far I'm pretty pleased with this camera. When folded, it fits in my jacket pocket. It's a fun and cool camera to play with.
I agree that these photos are really impressive!
My first 35mm camera as a kid was this one's cheaper cousin, the Kodak Retinette; mine was the later rigid (non-folding) model.
Fuji Pro400H always amazes me. For some reason I always get better results than I do with Portra 400. All with my mamiya 645 super and Cinestill kit developer.

That’s the thing I love about Retinas, they’re a perfect pocket camera. I have gifted several of them just so other photographers can learn what they’re capable of. I’ll probably hang on to the 1a. It’s tiny and light plus the scale focus works pretty well.
My Leica M2-R came back from CLA earlier this month as did my dual-range Summicron. First shot below is with the Ultron 35/2; the other two are with the Summicron. All on XP2 400.
