With 2 sick kids and 2 exhausted parents, I haven't taken many photos lately! A quick pic from when he was feeling good. M6 + Portra 800 + 35 lux v2.
I would get that tail growing out of his chest looked at.

Great colors and exposure on these last two!
Thanks Shawn! I'm trying to keep processing constant so I can see the differences in film output. I can already tell I prefer Portra 400 over Fujifilm 400 but it really depends on the scene.

Really like the XP2 tones! I've read it takes C41 (color) processing.
Great comps!
Thanks, XP2 definitely has it's own look. Much finer grain and very smooth whites compared to traditional 400 ISO B&W. Just have to be careful not to underexpose, which can make the blacks kind of muddy.
I had a buddy that wanted to test out a 3D printed 4x5 camera so he swung by the studio and for this occasion I took out a box of Fuji FP-3000B that has been in my fridge for quite a long time (expired in 2011)
I left it out for a few days prior to thaw and I was overjoyed to see that it was still in tip-top form!
Here are a few simple shots from our messing about.

So far, my favorite film stocks are Portra 400 and Ektar 100.
Great choices. Ditto. I’ve heard Portra 800 is great too but haven’t tried it. Did not like the Portra 160. I did try the Kodak Pro Image 100 a couple of times which I liked too but the Ektar 100 for cloudy days and Portra 400 for sunny days are the ones I reach out to. Are you planning to try B/W film too?
