Fred seems to have got the hang of this awfully quickly. Being all fancy n stuff shooting Portra 400.
One day, and that day will come, I too will shoot fresh Portra. In the meantime I am using hand me down expired knock offs like Kodok Putra and Foolji Ickros.
Expired who knows the date Fuji SuperHG400, exposed at ISO 100.
Sears Auto Mini 35 (Ricoh FF1).
Grainy, funky colours, but I still really like some of the images.

Colors look good for such a long expired film. Couple of questions, did you use up all the Tri-X and are you using the Sears Mini 35 to prepare for the next one exposure project?
All the TriX is gone. Unless my "friend" digs up more. I think it works really well at ISO 50, which is totally useable during daylight in SoCal.
The one shot project made me rediscover the Sears Mini 35/FF1 - it really is a great camera AND very fun to use. Having a single throw film advance lever really steps it up over cameras with thumb wheels. I just shot a roll in my Lomo LC-W, and the thumb film advance wheel really sucks if you are shooting a lot. I don't think I'm a complete wuss, but my thumb got sore by the end of the roll - admittedly shot w/in an hour.
The FF1 plain and simple is an awesome camera, and no-one seems to have realized this! Same size as the XA2 basically, but with better lens, film advance lever, and you can use any regular flash with it. Plus a decent shutter button!
The last roll of the ancient Tri-X at ISO 50 looked really good. The seriers with the skater had good tonal range and just enough grain to give it some "bite". Just added the FF-1 great grandaddy to the "I'm not buying any more cameras":
