Taken handheld with a Fuji 69 GSWIII, (very) expired Portra 160VC /220 (I am starting to like that stuff over Ektar), and converted to black and white via P'chop. Obviously, Yosemite has been shot seven ways to Sunday by millions of people, but I was pleased overall with the tonality in this image and hadn't shot anything larger that 6x6 there. I wish the jet contrails weren't so pronounced
Next time they warn a storm is coming to Yosemite - my advice is get there before it starts, then enjoy the weather. They scrape the roads and paths immediately, and the new fallen snow is astounding - even for those born in the Midwest like myself.
