Leica M4 + CV 35/1.4 vII + Film Washi X / Kodak Aerocolor IV 2460 rated at 200-400ish
I had some light leaks in my canister, the first 6 frames or so, so not sure I will be buying from Film Washi again.
All the Aerocolor IV films are susceptible to light piping; there's usually a warning somewhere to load the film in the dark or at least subdued light.
I've shot one roll of Washi to date and I guess FlickFilm's Elektra 100 is the same thing; I'm on the fence about whether to try it again as some colors are garishly off (try taking photos of anything purple or lilac-colored with Aerocolor IV) but I'm thinking it'll be just the ticket for autumn salt marshes which is where I'm headed in a few weeks so I may get a roll.

Xshpan? No. Ok I will drop the Sean Connery accent.
Xpan..
Ah, yes, sorry if it wasn't clear, but it's a continuation of my Arctic trip that I started at the top of page #412. All the shots on that trip were from the Xpan + 45/4 (or 90/4) + Kentmere 400 pushed a stop.

I'm sitting on a 10-pack of original Agfapan APX 100 which is great for LA bright days. But the cost/flexibility ratio of Kentmere seems undeniable.
I'm going to look into it too. I'm mainly shooting XPS 400 since it can be processed by my lab with their C41 film and I can get my photos back quickly; I don't know if I'll ever go back to developing my own film.
I've always been intrigued by Fomapan 400, but even when I expose it at EI200 the images come back from my lab looking underexposed. I'll give Kentmere a try.
Here are some recent Fomapan 400 shots, all shot at EI200, exposure brought up a bit in post.

It is a fantastic bargain really. I kinda wish I had picked something with a bit more contrast for the drab Arctic landscape, but still decently happy with the results.

I typically auto-adjust the levels in post, which does have the effect of increasing contrast, plus I manually bring in the black point just a little more after the levels adjustment. My lab does the scans, and I think they deliberately aim for a flatter scan to allow people to adjust to taste.
I just finished another roll of Fomapan and we'll see how that one turns out; if it's still underexposed I may try for EI 100 or 160 next time.
Love your Arctic shots! I do a little work for the Arctic Council and was supposed to go to Kirkenes in Finmark next month but it's not going to happen.

It's all I buy now for ISO 400 film. I love it irrespective of price. For me it gives that traditional B&W look which is what I look for in this digital world. Also it pushes really well!

I stopped buying Fomapan 400 as it is at best a 200 film. When I buy 400, I want 400! Enter Kentmere stage right.

Big fan of XPS, other than the price. The tonality and detail is fantastic.

I love ORWO UN54 for more contrast, sold from Lomo as Potsdam Kino 100. But I think you pushing Kentmere is giving a lot of texture anyways. Looks great.

I have been enjoying developing Tri-X in Rodinal but to get the best results, it needs to be exposed at ISO 200. The next few rolls will be in Ilfotec HC. I’ll try it at 320 and maybe even 400. Next week there will be some Film Photography Project FPP-76, which comes in packages to make one liter. I’ll use it both stock and 1:1.
Rodinal is all I use for 100 speed films. But I need a convenient developer for higher speeds. I just cant be bothered t mix 5 liters of Xtol to just dump 3 of them six months later.

At the end of October, Freestyle and others will have Adox XT-3 in stock. A bit more environmentally than XTOL and you can get it in one liter packages.

Thanks for the hot tip! I drive to their store once and while. I also just like supporting Adox as a company.
Wow, i feel like i have much to learn shooting film again. I need to get more comfortable with my cameras so I can focus on composition and exposure. A couple from my resurrected Minolta Autocord with Kodak Ektar 100.

Thanks. I've been meaning to pick up some colour filters in 49mm, which would help bring the contrast up a bit too.
I have a roll of Potsdam 100 ready to develop, (along with 30+ other rolls) and I'm really looking forward to seeing the results.
Here's a few more looks from Herschel before we moved on;
And a few from a flight into Inuvik along the sprawling Mackenzie River Delta. (Which is the second largest drainage system in North America after the Mississippi)

Might be time to get a film M to go along with your M11 Bob!
