PSA: Not sure who here remembers, but a long time ago I had complained about a roll of Ilford Orth Plus that had some defects. See the faint dark spots in shaded areas below.
The roll was developed by a lab, another lab showed similar issues on the same film stock. It convinced me to develop my own film, and I never saw this type of defect ...
... until I switched from DD-X to Rodinal. It is a lot more obvious in this latest roll.
Ilford Ortho Plus: I still love this film stock, just not with Rodinal.
Anyway, here is the rest of that roll. Roll 113: Hasselblad 2000 FCW with Ilford Ortho Plus developed in Rodinal.

From someone who is still learning to use Rodinal. I received some good advice on another forum and it's helped. Reduce the ISO by 1 stop, agitate gently for the first minute then one or two gentle agitations every minute. These few things have really helped.
A few more from the Carousel Museum in Albany, Oregon. Most of these are wide open and hand held with a Shutter speed of 1/30th or 1/60th
M4-2, Voigtlander 28 2.8 Color Skopar V2, Tri-X @ ISO 200, Rodinal 50:1

Thanks, but I measured the film speeds (Acros, Delta 100, Ortho, PanF) for my process, and I have not seen these defects with Delta 100 and Acros (I still have to try PanF).
My recipe:
Rodinal:water = 12:900 mL, 20 C, 15 min, continuous agitation in a Simma roller
Stop:water = 50:900 mL, 30 sec
Fix:water = 190:760 mL, 5 min
Rinse: 5 times in tap water, 2 times with water that was filtered then distilled
Resulting Film curve for Ortho:
Perhaps the I am diluting it too much. But my motivation was to have *one* recipe for multiple film stocks. So it is not too surprising that it does not work for all film stocks.
Edit: Actually, I think Ortho and Rodinal just do not get along. Notice that Ilford's spec sheets list starting recipes for Delta 100 and PanF in Rodinal, but there is no such recipe in the Ortho Plus spec sheet.
Nikon FM2n, AI Nikkor 50mm f/1.8S, Kentmere Pan 400, developed in LegacyPro L110 at 1:31 for 5.5 minutes.
Three individual black and white frames shot through Tiffen #25 Red, #58 Green, and #47 Blue filters, respectively, then combined using GIMP to create a trichrome color image.
