Non subscription paying members of the B&S board are able to view and post on the threads and that is as it should be to ensure the widest possible market for sales. However eventhough non members can write on posts, can buy equipment and have feedback left for them by sellers, they cannot leave feedback for the people who have paid to use the board.
I've recently sold two items to people whom I cannot receive feedback from eventhough non paying members can build up their own feedback rating from anyone, is this fair?
I'm not saying that anything about the status quo should change but please allow paying members to receive feedback from anyone not just paying members of the board just as the non paying members are able to.
eos - do you mean subscribe as in become an FM member or do you mean as in pay for the buy/sell forum use? I think Beni is saying that unless you pay for the image upload or the buy/sell subscription you cannot leave feedback.
The way I understood it was you can post to a thread on the buy/sell without paying the fee but you cannot start a thread. I also thought you could leave feedback without having to pay the fee.

We have changed the entire forum code and a few glitches may show up here and there. Non-subscriber members 'should' be allowed to leave feedback. I will check on that. Thanks for reporting.

I just checked this.
As a test, I logged in as a non-subscriber, posted on a buy and sell topic and was able to leave feedback to the seller without any problems.
Are you sure this is an issue. I don't see any glitch. Please let me know,

I had two people tell me they couldn't do it, one subscribed subsequently and told me that he was then able to. I'll report back to a buyer who kindly offered to leave feedback but then told me he couldn't, see what he says. Many thanks for your time Fred.

Could you please ask the 'non-subscriber(s)' who had issues before to try again?
Perhaps we had a bug but it was quickly fixed.
