Hi, I have version 3.0 and want to add the individual file name to each of the 266 files in my show without having to type them individually in the Caption box! I have searched for how to do this and can't find help anywhere.
I don't think this is correct. However, I can't back it up because I don't use mine much. I do recall something about adding file names as the caption.
In any case, there is a ProShow forum. Do a search on the net for the forum to ask your question there. It is very active.....but I haven't visited in several months (sorry, no link).
Oh, there is also a Yahoo Users Group for ProShow.
"If you want to do it for all slides, just go to the
global setup for the show options, select the captions dialog and set up your
caption - in the caption dialog area is also the "insert macro" button. There
are pre-defined macros for slide number, file name etc - there is a whole
list of them available. If you want to turn it off on several individual slides,
go to the specific slide, select the captions dialog and you will find a check
box for the global caption to display on that slide - uncheck it for that slide. "
