p.1 #1 · Two Garden Images, for C and C

Especially interested in feedback about composition, "look" and cropping.

First, with Lensbaby.

Second 100 mm, 1/100s, f2.8 ISO 400

Thx,
Scott G

Thanks Kaden. Appreciate the feedback and re-work.
All who are tuned in: please feel free to re-work the image(s) and post, with processing input.
I feel more confident of my non-LensBaby images; the lensbaby look is new, more distinctive and I'm not sure myself what constitutes "successful" images with it, though I am aware that much is a matter of taste. So, play along! Let me know if you would like emailed a RAW version.

Hi Scott,

#2 is great, really like it - if I had to pick a nit I'd suggest toning down whatever is on the window ever-so-slightly.

#1, for whatever reason, gives me a sense of vertigo, I'm much more comfortable with Kaden's approach.

regards,

Bob

#2 turned out great.

If you did anything to it...actually it looks fine as is =)

For me the first would be better if the post was straight and there was a bit more space above it on the top. Perhaps a bit more off centred. I am not sure this is the right shot for the lens baby. A normal lens with bokeh would be better for my taste.

For me the 2nd is too busy and confusing. I don't like the item through the window. It feels a tad tilted. I think either closer or further would be better.
