I've been hanging around these forums for a while, just looking at the pictures, and trying to improve my technique. I think it is wonderfully to see some of your fantastic work, and so I though I'd get involved! I know I'm not as good as most of you (yet), but someday I hope to become a high-school photography teacher. I got my first slr on December 27th, 2007 (I will never forget the day ).... I'd love to get some critiques on my images, and I find you get better ones when you post photos individually, but right now I'm just too impatient to wait and make another thread, so I'm going to start with a few that I took in Moab UT (near Arches National Park)

I'd love to hear any comments you have, constructive criticism is always welcome!
Welcome babyjax14. Great to have you jumping in with both feet. I particularly enjoy your presentation/composition of #3, and also the forground detail in #2. Looking forward to seeing more. Best wishes. -Art
I love #1 and #3. #2 is a little busy in the foreground where the top limbs go into the shadow of the hills. Maybe if taken from a lower angle where the limbs would go into the sky....
