Nice shots. I am really debating on my next purchase between this lens and the 85 1.4. I have heard nothing but great feedback on both, which just makes my decision harder

Out of curiosity, did you get any shots with players and ball in faster motion?
Thanks Chris, a couple with faster motion but they turned out so so, I think I have to get the feel of camera and lens. It was very overcast and dark and it did not help the shutter speed out at all. I also used the 1.7 TC but it slowed the AF down.
Hopefully some more testing in a few days, tomorrow I have to go for a root canal and I don't think I will be doing much of anything.
