I just bought the new 24" i-Mac and installed CS3 and cannot get the same menus to show up when I go to print an image on the Epson 2200. When I used CS2 on my old G-4, I would proceed as follows when I made a color print:
1. File: Page Setup > Printer: Epson 2200 > Choose Paper Size
2 File: Print > I would center my print etc. on the page that showed up. I would then hit the word "print" on this page and it would open up another menu and I would choose my paper profile (Epson Radiant White Watercolor) and then choose the word, "custom".
3. Color Management would show up and all the color "sliders" would show up and I would make adjustments there and hit the word "print" and my Epson 2200 would print WONDERFUL watercolor prints.
I cannot figure out why I am not given these options using CS3 and OS 10.5.2 ? A friend of mine thought that a driver was not available yet for the Epson 2200 for OS 10.5.2? I am very frustrated and cannot solve this problem. I would appreciate any help from CS3/Epson2200/OS10.5.2 users.
The driver is pre-installed with the Leopard operating system for the 2200. Go to system preferences/print&fax and make sure the 2200 driver is visible. The new Leopard menus are collapsed by default. When you see the printer menu, click on the blue triangle at the top of the print menu to expand and see the rest of the print options.
