Lil, always out sunning and having fun Good for you and nice 'cause you share! Love those stilts which I am going to call 'tilts' because they are always at some angle or another. And speaking of that, #7 which by the way finely demonstrates how to make the number '4' with its legs is a great capture, like the angles of head and foot. How about #5 'cowboy stilt' that is one bow-legged looking rascal there Those sea slugs sure have color, neat looking little holding pond, so much to see, looks like you had another great day of shooting

Great series, Lil. The "Fred and Ginger" series is magnificent. You did the stilts justice. The eared grebe came out well, too.
It was great meeting you, too. And, BTW, my name is Peter. Don't worry, I'm bad with names, too.
Peter
Hi Peter,
I've fixed your name. I am so bad with names & I had made a mental note of Peter & as you well know I've responded in your threads "Peter" - - so this memory letdown irritates me. But I will not again, cause then I'll really have to punish myself. I mean it's actually silly. I even went on the board & made sure I got your handle right - - then I mess up your name. I can't tell you how sorry I am, cause that's a very bad mistake in my book. So sorry.....
Anyhow, glad you like the stilts. They did put on a show for us. Any chicks yet? I'm glad I got a few from the Grebe I like.
Peter - - I hope I find you down there again soon. & I promise not to call you anything other than Peter.

Always out sunning & having fun...... OK. Actually I'm taking my daughter to the Huntington Library today. Lets hope I find some wildlife while there.... Glad you like the stilts, they are just so elegant. I'm very lucky I have selective hearing cause I happened to notice & hear this family discussing this thing in the water they had no idea what it was. That's when I walked over & told then (used to have a huge saltwater tank). Once I saw it I told Peter about it (see I'm enforcing Peter's name yet again in my mind). Peter took some shots. I ran back to the car, leaving all my equipment on the bridge, & got the little travel lens (the 18-200VR) cause with it I could lean over the railing without falling into the water. Both Peter & I got some shots, but it was hard with the water activity.
Oh, Karl I have a neat shot to share with you.... Guess I'll pm you in a little while...
