p.1 #1 · The Eyes Have It.

My friends,

After my last post (which was supposed to be funny), I thought I'd post this. I think it's an Owl's Eye butterfly, and he was wandering about in the leaves when I got this shot. Both his eyes (on his wing and on his face) are in focus, and that really creates a sense of visual excitement (to me).

Your C&C is most appreciated, as always.

I think it is a wonderful photo, kind of a play on peekaboo. That blur in the foreground is somewhat annoying.

It's a nice shot Tony, but Tim's right about the leaf/blur in the foreground.

Thanks for the comments. I agree that the blur in the foreground isn't ideal, but sometimes we aren't presented with the ideal...
