Wow, this stuff is good! I want to be like you when I grow up. Do you mind sharing your lighting techniques? What kind of flash? Any diffusers? etc, etc, etc. Thanks for posting.
Very nice works, beautiful images and layouts. One thing that nagging me after looking at the first few images is that the images seem to be a bit over sharpening. Other than that everything seems to be top rated.
Overall, this is a excellent album--a fine art piece.
Helpful suggestions:
1) some of your compositions border on the "too busy" or "cluttered"; sometimes the problem is that the brides pressure us into fitting tons of images into the album; some of your borderline cluttered pages have images that are repetitious and could have been left out; consider simplifying your designs even further; convince your brides not to put in too many repetitious images
Australian wedding photographer Jerry Ghionis is one of the best I have ever met and seen at doing album design
2) your subjects seem a bit bored in some of your posed shots; you can see it in their eyes; it is important to make sure that these images preserve the magic of the moment in their expressions; this is also an art.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful artistic wedding album! Very inspiring!

Vance, you are right about too many images on some pages. My version of the album was 60 pages. They had only 40 pages prepaid. They couldn't buy extra 20 pages and dropped a lot of good ones. I had to put images on the other pages and sometimes they don't work together very well. The reception pages are very busy and they kind of represent that part of the day - very busy time.
The repetitions... I call them sequences... I find them a lot in Jerry's albums and others...
I know Jerry's work very well. I met him and talked at WPPI this year. You have to realize that the albums they show to brides and submit to competitions could be totally different things. If I would redesign it put as many pages as I need to cover what I want, but brides can afford only so much.
Great photography, good exposures. I especially like the work on the formals and the headshots of the bridal party- I'll remember that for my next wedding.
I find the album layout design itself to be a little static / repitious / straightforward / standard, but the ordering and selection of images works pretty well.
