Wow, lucky you! These are wonderful! I have never seen one either, you have done a fantastic job on these. In the sunshine, dark head, white bodies. The whites are a bit hot but still very good. Nice job.
You sure did a great job with your shots on this one. I like your low angle shots, the head dip is great and the submarine shots are cool. Your accurate photo shows this as a nice charcoal gray head, and noticing the orange legs and distinct tail feathers would make this a Bonaparte's Gull, the Black-headed Gull has a red bill and is larger.
Beauty shots. I was working on some of these guys this morning. Mine didn't turn out near as good. Mother nature must not like photographers, putting black and white on the same critter, You've done a great job.
