p.1 #1 · My first post and upload..

Been lurking for awhile now and ready to jump in. This was taken at the Florida Intl Air Show last month. I had just bought my Canon 100-400l and took over 600 shots at the show getting used to the lens. About 50 came out really nice and another 50 were pretty good!

Here is a shot of the US Air Force Thunderbirds.

2nd shot is an F-15 fly by with a P-51 Mustang in tow...

3rd shot is another F-15 and P-51 fly by.

I wish angle in #1 was like in #2. In #1 the planes are going away from you. Also for some reason, it look slot more noise at ISO400. Did you bump exposure in pp?

Doesn't look like noise, looks like pixelation...a resizing issue? A smaller size stretched too much or too tight of a crop in an originally loose frame?

Mustang looks better than the modern counter part, sort of more human.

You have to watch the shutter speeds with the props. You froze it here. They are many different thoughts, but I generally never shoot a prop at anything faster than 1/250.
